As Usual,
Growth is Great!

Sönmez Trafo has seen another year of sizable growth compared to previous years. Of course, it's all thanks to our loyal customers and our colleagues.
We have achived record for sales turnover of export to all around the world. Our main customers were from Central Europe and United States.

It's fair to say that Sönmez Trafo has done its utmost to provide customers with the best service it can.

We have started the year with a high prestige award by Deloitte. Our company has been choosen Best Managed company of 2019 by Deiloitte.

Most Innovative Company Award

Our company has been awarded with the most innovative company of Marmara Region by Developement Agency of Marmara.

New Investments are on going...

Sönmez Trafo has decided to continue investements in 2020 and we have improved our production capacity with modern and new equipments :

- Cranes up to 120 tonnes
- Air cusion transformer carrying system
- HV Test systems for new Lab.
- Capacitor bank for the Test Lab. #2
- New R&D center

Successful Deliveries and recently awarded projects

Even it was difficult year due to COVID-19 pandemic, Sönmez Trafo has completed 276 different projects in 2020.
With the other words, STS has designed new transformer every day. Therefore we well deserve to say "Customized is our standard".

2020 with numbers:
  - 1727 quotations have been submitted to our customers
  -  More than 95% of export rate has been reached.
  - 276 different projects have been completed.
  - More than 1000 units have been delivered.

- Delivery of 85 pcs. of 24 Pulse VSD Transformers for water pump stations
    ( Power Rating: Various between 7200 kVA - 13500 kVA  )

- Fast Track Project -  2x11000 kVA Dry Type Converter Transformer delivery in Ukraine
   Sönmez Trafo has delivered 2 pcs. of 11000 kVA Converter transformers with in 4 weeks in order to replace failed transformers by another manufacturer .

- 6x32 MVA Rectifier Transformer for Petro-chemical company - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia  ( On-going Project)

- 170 unit of earthing transformers with ASCs for Finland

- 21 unit of Dry Type transformer for Petro-chemical industrial customer

- 95 unit of Marine Transformers for the largest ship of Turkish Navy

- 6 unit of 1875 kVA Traction Transformer for Turkey
